* When it comes to 2024 prez race, nobody knows squat.
* I don’t have a problem with conservatives supporting different GOP presidential candidates in the 2024 primary. But those who claim to *know* what’s going to happen – in both the primary and general election next year – are annoying as heck.
* Nobody knows. Nobody.
* Will Biden be the Democrats’ nominee? Appears so, but nobody knows.
* Will Biden reverse course and decide not to run for re-election after all? Seems doubtful, but nobody knows.
* Will Biden’s health and/or the mounting legal troubles over Hunter’s myriad scandals result in Biden resigning for “family” or “health” reasons and turning the Oval Office over to the Cackler?
* Seems unlikely – NOBODY wants Kamala in the Top Job – but nobody knows.
* Will Trump breeze through the primaries and get the GOP nomination for a third time? Certainly looks that way right now, but nobody knows.
* Will DeSantis remain the main rival to Trump in the primary? Probably. But the first debate isn’t until later this month and anything can happen. So nobody knows.
* Will Trump participate in the debate and risk his lead in the primary? Some say yes, others say no. Nobody but Trump knows…and maybe even he doesn’t know yet.
* Will Republican primary voters – tiring from Trump Fatigue – reach a breaking point and look for an alternative nominee once primary contests start next year? Seems the odds are against it at this point, but nobody knows.
* Will the left’s unending persecution and prosecution of Trump result in empathy for the former president and catapult him back into the White House in the general election if he wins the primary?
* Some say yes; others say no. But nobody knows.
* If Biden is the Dems’ nominee, will he beat Trump again despite his frailty and cognitive decline because so many independents would rather drink acid than vote for Trump?
* Anything’s possible, but nobody knows.
* Will a credible “No Labels” Ralph Nader-type third-party candidate emerge to capture the large segment of voters who don’t want either Trump or Biden and swing the race one way or the other.
* Longshot, but possible. Nobody knows.
* As columnist Victor Davis Hanson concluded in a recent column…
“The only certain fact is that anyone who currently declares the outcomes of the primary races or general election a foregone conclusion is utterly delusional.”
* What he said.
* If someone put a gun to my head and I had to bet the farm, I’d wager a Trump-Biden rematch with Trump coming out on top by a whisker.
* But I don’t know. Neither does anybody else.
* So buckle up. The only thing I know is it’s gonna be one heckuva a bumpy ride.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“I’ve got Kamala Harris coming down to Florida trying to create a phony narrative because she understands Florida stood up to the left’s agenda. We have beat the left’s agenda. I’m not budging an inch.” – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R)
