* It’s a good thing I promoted the event to Muth’s Truths readers, because GOP National Committeewoman Sigal Chattah tried to limit the event to only young and college Republicans and by my unofficial count there were fewer than a half-dozen people there under 30 years
of age.
* A liberal jackass talk-show host, Brian Shapiro, tried to crash the event. Hotel security tossed him out. On the way out the door, Shapiro yelled across the lobby, calling Scott a “f-cking
coward.”
* After the ejection, one of Shapiro’s melon-headed minions took to Twitter with a post directed at the Nevada Republican Party. “My Jewish friend who has a press pass, Brian Shapiro tried to cover your event,” the mental midget wrote. “But you threw him out. This is fascism!”
* Moron.
* His being Jewish - or even Jew-ish, as George Santos would say - had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with kicking this jerk to the curb. It was a private event on private property. And everyone knew he was there for no purpose other than to stir up trouble.
* Meanwhile, back at the ranch…
* A former Las Vegan with a history of mental illness and a record of “multiple arrests and convictions for several violent acts” rented a U-Haul truck and went on a joy ride through the streets of New York, hitting seven pedestrians and killing one of them.
* “This isn’t the first time he’s been arrested,” his son told the Associated Press. “It’s not the first time he’s gone to jail.” In other words, another classic example of catch-and-release.
* In one previous arrest in 2015, Weng Sor stabbed his brother. In another arrest in 2020, “he stabbed one person in the arm and another in the chest and/or stomach.” Prosecutors allowed him to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy.
* Although the court documents surely must show who the prosecutors and judges were who let this crazed individual back on our streets to wreak havoc, they aren’t identified in the news
report.
* It’s time for the media to start naming names of these soft-on-criminals judges and DA’s – especially since they’re elected by the very citizens who become victims of this dysfunctional
revolving door justice system.
* In another incident reported today by the Las Vegas Review Journal, a man shot a woman four times while she was holding her 2-month-old infant baby in her arms. She had multiple restraining orders against the man, her ex-husband. For all the good they did.
* No “piece of paper” is gonna stop a thug hellbent on violence.
* And yep, the guy has a previous criminal record, including for domestic violence. So why was he still on the street? What are the names of the prosecutors? Who were the judges? Inquiring minds wanna know.
* “Calamity” Kate Marshall – who went from state treasurer to lieutenant governor to a job in the Biden administration – is championing making the Office of Small Business Advocacy,
which was started by her successor in the LG’s office, permanent (SB24).
* She tweeted this week that the OSBA “gives small biz in NV a voice & cuts thru red tape.”
* How is this an “essential” government service?
* Wouldn’t it make more sense for elected officials themselves to reduce red tape and regulations on Nevada’s small businesses rather than create another non-essential government operation to fix the problems the government itself has created?
* SAVE THE DATE: We’ll be hosting a spring “Death & Taxes” fundraising dinner at the Italian-American Club on Saturday night, April 15. Details to come. Just waiting on confirmation of our VIP speaker/guest-of-honor…but go ahead and pencil it in on your calendar in the
meantime.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“Dem policies keep people poor. How? Upper middle class & higher have a sharp
CPA that can find every loop hole imaginable, they can pay for IRS monitoring
& if audited will have a CPA/lawyer to take care of it. Who doesn’t have
that? LOWER INCOME & they will be the ones paying.” – Raven Omojola, Executive Director, Citizen Outreach
