Special Early Invite for Inner Circle Members

As a member of Citizen Outreach’s “Inner Circle Club,” you’re receiving this advance-notice invitation to a new campaign training workshop I’ve put together before I extend it to my full email list.

Here’s the deal…

I’ve developed a new campaign training workshop for folks who might be *thinking* about running for office next year but maybe aren’t 100% sure - or have already decided to run but still have a lot of questions about how to put together a winning campaign.

It’s also for candidates who weren’t successful in a previous run(s) and are considering running again…but want to avoid any mistakes this time around that they may have made the first time.

It’s also for party and club leaders – really, anyone involved in recruiting or volunteering to help candidates – so you’ll know when a candidate is doing something “wrong” and can gently correct them (be careful, many have tender egos).

Much of this workshop is taken directly from the campaigning training books, cassette tapes (ah, those were the days!), manuals and workshops developed by Newt Gingrich and his senior strategy adviser, Joe Gaylord – the “architect” of the Contract with America.

It includes…

  • The 6 main qualities every good candidate should possess
  • The candidate’s three main jobs (no, posting on Facebook ain’t one of them)
  • 15 factors to consider before pulling the trigger
  • The important differences between a challenger and an incumbent campaign
  • 12 pre-launch strategic and tactical decisions you need to make
  • 13 steps to take to kick-start your campaign
  • The one thing that’s far more important than “polling” (your whole messaging strategy depends on this)
  • How to deal with party leaders
  • How to deal with the media
  • How to deal with “time vampires”
  • How to develop your 7-point stump speech
  • My Top 10 reading list for candidates and campaign operatives

Now, here’s the problem…

This all looks good on paper. But I’ve never done this one before, live, in front of an audience. So I don’t know if it’s gonna take 2 hours, 3 hours, or what.

For that reason, I’m going to do a special “off Broadway” production of “So You Want to Be a Candidate?” next Thursday night from 6:00 pm ‘til…???

And I need some “guinea pigs” who won’t mind if this new presentation is a little rough around the edges or how long it might run.

So while I’ll probably charge $49/person for this workshop in the future, I’m offering this first one for those willing to help me out and attend this kickoff presentation for…FREE.

However…

I want to keep this one small to allow for maximum give and take – including questions. So it’s only open to 20 people…and one of the seats is already taken by a grassroots activist I ran into yesterday and told about it.

Also, I haven’t set up a registration form in Eventbrite yet, so if you’d like to apply to join me, just shoot an email to chuck@campaigndoctor.com and let me know your interest and why.

Let me know if you’re a candidate, thinking about being a candidate, or just want to learn more about what it takes to be a good candidate. And include both your email address and best phone number to contact.

The training office is not far from McCarran Airport (no, I still can’t bring myself to call it “Harry Reid International”) near Russell and Pecos. Will give those accepted to attend the exact address when confirmed.

Check-in will start at 5:30 and the workshop will begin promptly at 6:00 pm.

And while it may not be finely polished, I guarantee you’re gonna learn some things you absolutely won’t learn anywhere else - from anyone else. And we’re gonna have some FUN, too.

So again, if you want to help me out and join me next week for the first-ever “So You Want to Be a Candidate?” workshop, shoot an email to chuck@campaigndoctor.com and I’ll take it from there.

Peace and love, luv. Peace and love.

Dr. Chuck
