* Was it a mistake or intentional?
* Consensus seems to be that trotting Biden out before cameras last night after his bedtime to respond to an investigator’s report that this a frail old man who suffers from CRS (Can’t Remember, um, Stuff) couldn’t be convicted by a sympathetic jury was a colossal political mistake.
* How bad was it? Get this quote from Democrat operative Paul Begala on CNN today…
"Look, I'm a Biden supporter. And I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every two hours and wet the bed. This is terrible for Democrats. And anybody with a functioning brain knows that."
* Biden seemingly confirmed the CRS diagnoses by saying in the press conference that the Gaza Strip was on the border with Mexico. True story. You can’t make something like that up.
* Others, however, suggest that putting Biden in that situation – which backfired spectacularly – was done intentionally to set the stage for replacing the incumbent Democrat mush-head at the top of the party’s ticket before its convention this summer.
* Say whatever else you want about Democrats, but with them, winning is everything. I tend to think it was a set-up. I’d say the odds of Biden ending up the party’s nominee are now no better than 50-50.
* About the only thing keeping him in position today is the thought of the alternative taking over the Oval Office: Kamala Harris. Because if Biden steps aside, how do Democrats – the party of identity politics - deny a shot at the brass ring to a black woman.
* Unless it’s ANOTHER black woman. Someone like, say…Michelle Obama. As frightening as that prospect may be to Republicans, that’s the chatter going ‘round the ‘net.
* A key element of “Rules for Radicals” is that ridicule is one of the most powerful weapons that can be used against a candidate. As such, Sleepy Joe’s in a world of hurt. A sampling from social media…

* BONUS POINTS for those who recognize the reference to that phone number.
* I haven’t finished watching Tucker Carlson’s interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but whether you believe Putin was being truthful or even correct in his assertions, there was no doubt he is FAR more in command of his faculties than the current U.S. president.
* Hard to imagine Biden could be competitive with Putin even in a game of tidily-winks.
* More on the Chaos Caucus
* Got a first-person report from a very reliable source that the Nevada GOP allowed non-Republicans to vote last night after all. But good luck trying to get a list of voters who cast a ballot to verify.
* The Nevada GOP pooh-bahs are crowing about what a wild success the caucus was. That ranks right up there with Biden’s claim that Bidenomics has been a wild success.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“This rat-trap calamity of a caucus is a total farce! I for one don’t like going to vote somewhere, and all the people running the site are wearing ‘Team Trump’ shit! Way to go, holding a complete, stacked, in the bag election! I feel like I’m on a cuckoo train and being held hostage by my own party.” – Name withheld
“I caucused last night. … I didn’t even arrive at the front of the school and enter for nearly an hour. … The ballot box was like the ones shown in your post titled Caucus Chaos. Chaos is an understatement. I don’t blame the volunteers who, I believe, did their best with little to no training. … The confusion lies at the feet of the so-called state GOP who seem far more interested in name recognition and praise for themselves than actually ensuring volunteers, who may or may not be paid for their work, were properly trained and prepared to carry out their duties.” – Name withheld
“Another one for your caucus disaster file. Before I go on let me say that I do not believe the local Churchill County Republicans were the problem. It appears to me that that there was little planning, guidance and co-ordination by the state Republican party and our local people did what they could to make it work. … If it hadn’t been for the fact that I have voted in every general election, primary or caucus since 1964, I would have walked out on this disaster. This should have been done on a Saturday for 8 hours instead of packing people in like sardines for a couple of hours.” – Name withheld
“I wish I could tell you how the Carson City caucus went, but I couldn’t get there. There was absolutely no parking anywhere. It was held at the Casino Fandango. I drove around from 5:10-5:55 and gave up. My only option was to park somewhere in the shopping center across the street and walk through the snow and slick sidewalks where we get at least one pedestrian hit each week. Wasn’t worth it to participate in a scam ‘election’ to begin with. I heard that the line snaked throughout the whole casino and was very slow. Definitely a huge fail, but unfortunately not unexpected with the incompetents that run the Carson City party.” – Name withheld
