Muth's Truths PLUS+

12/13/2023

* Joe Biden continues to undermine Israel in its war against Hamas by claiming during a fundraiser with major donors that the embattled country is starting to lose support due to what he characterized as “indiscriminate bombing” taking place in the Gaza Strip.

* With “friends” like Biden, Israel doesn’t need enemies.

* Harvard and its faculty have rallied behind its antisemitic, affirmative-action president following backlash from her congressional testimony a few days ago in which she maintained that campus protests calling for the genocide of Jews wasn’t hate speech because they had to be considered in “context.”

* Glaudine Gay has also since been fingered as a serial plagiarist. But at Harvard, that’s OK as long as she’s not a white male. She remains in her job.

* The mayors of “sanctuary cities” New York and Chicago are having cows over all the illegal aliens being shipped to their neck of the woods due to Joe Biden’s open southern border. It’s costing them a small fortune.

* New York Mayor Eric Adams is proposing to pay for housing all it’s illegal aliens by cutting the police budget – because, as we all know, there’s no crime in NYC – as well as cutting “trash pickups, library hours, and after-school programs.”

* So legal citizens and taxpayers are going to suffer to accommodate illegal aliens. Of course, it’s wrong. But then again, this is what they voted for. So no sympathy here.

* Liberal blogger Jon Ralston hates Republican attorney Joey Gilbert with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. Not just because he’s a conservative Republican, but specifically because Gilbert doesn’t think boys should be showering in girls’ locker rooms in public schools.

* Douglas County tried to restrict trans kids from doing so, which brought down the wrath of the ACLU – and media types like Ralston, who has a trans kid.

* The county school board didn’t think their previous lawyer was aggressive enough in defending the board from the attacks. So a few months ago, it hired Gilbert.

* Since then, Ralston has been on a jihad, trying to make a federal case out of increased legal fees it’s now paying Gilbert. But that’s more likely a factor of Gilbert having to defend the district against attacks that previous counsel was uninterested in pursuing.

* Former Assemblyman James “The Big Selloutski” Oscarson lost his seat to a “dead pimp” in 2018 after sucking up mounds of campaign cash from lobbyists and voting for the largest tax hike in Nevada history.

* Naturally, ex-Gov. Steve Sisolak found a nice landing spot for the tax-hungry RINO, appointing him to a position on the state Ethics Commission.

* Oscarson was up for re-appointment back in June, but Gov. Lombardo chose not to keep him onboard. Instead he appointed Stan Olsen, a former law enforcement officer, former state senator, and former chair of the Nevada Taxi Authority.

* A definite upgrade. But Ralston is now taking shots at Lombardo for supposedly “snubbing” Oscarson and appointing Olsen and another commissioner “with ties to law enforcement.”

* In Ralston World, protecting and serving the public is a bad thing while voting to raise your taxes is a good thing. Thank goodness the rest of us don’t live in Ralston World.

* Republican prospects for flipping Dem seats got a boost this morning with the announcement that Clark County Commissioner Ross Miller will NOT be seeking re-election next year.

* The seven-member commission hasn’t had a Republican on the board in almost 20 years. April Becker’s odds of changing that dynamic just got better. Go April, go!

* U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama is trying to breathe some life into the campaign corpse of Jim Marchant, who’s running this time for Nevada’s U.S. Senate seat. Tuberville’s hosting a fundraiser for Marchant at Mar-a-Lago next week.

* But this is an outlier. The Republican Senatorial Committee has already lined up behind Sam Brown, as have most GOP senators.

* Tuberville’s controversial “holds” on military promotions over a dispute involving taxpayer-funded abortions for military personnel and the growing “woke” culture being fostered by the Pentagon will likely be wrapped around Marchant’s neck by his opponents, two of whom have decorated military careers.

* A man accused of child sexual assault a year ago had his bail reduced from $100,000 to $10,000 by Justice of the Peace Diana Sullivan over objections by the District Attorney’s office.

* The guy made bail. And Sullivan decided to “protect” the community by letting him out with an ankle bracelet and an order to stay away from the victims or any children under the age of 18.

* Caught…and released.

* That same guy just killed and woman and two children – one of whom was reportedly one of his victims. And now three people, two of whom were teenagers, are dead.

* The court’s revolving door needs to be nailed shut.

* Sadly, this isn’t the first time Judge Sullivan has handed a dangerous criminal a get-out-of-jail-free card. I detailed another example back in 2020. Click here.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS

“Donald Trump has refused to debate throughout this campaign. He doesn’t think he owes it to Iowans. He doesn’t think he owes to Granite Staters to show up and debate. Nobody is entitled to this nomination.” – Ron DeSantis at CNN town hall meeting last night
