* A 29-year-old dirtbag was arrested Monday night after he “bit a Las Vegas police officer and threw rocks at other officers” on an RTC bus. Now here’s the shocker (not)…

* The guy “had been sentenced to jail three years ago for attacking two other Metropolitan Police officers.”

* I look forward to the day when the media starts investigating and reporting on how these violent criminals are caught and released, including naming names of the judges and DA’s responsible for letting them back on the street to terrorize our neighborhoods.

* That includes my own neighborhood where a 15-year-old drug dealer and an accomplice recently shot and killed a homeowner just five minutes from my house. He’s been charged as an adult.

* The “boy,” according to his attorney, “had used cocaine every day for the past year” and, as such, is unable to understand “the weight of his crimes” and shouldn’t be tried as an adult.

* Cry me a river.

* Here’s another shocker (not): The poor little boy “spent 14 months on probation for other juvenile crimes from October 2021 to December.” Caught…and released. And now a man is dead.

* And the beat goes on…

* A 40-year-old pimp – excuse me again, *alleged* pimp – was arrested at Binion’s Casino in Las Vegas this week and accused of “assaulting and trying to steal money from an admitted prostitute.”

* The guy is “a registered sex offender” who was “convicted of pandering in using a 13-year-old girl as a prostitute in 2005.” Caught…and released.

* Funny how you never read stories like this coming out of Nevada’s LEGAL brothels where prostitution is regulated and taxed. Alas, licensed brothels remain illegal in Las Vegas.

* You’d think all the anti-sex traffickers would support protecting voluntary, ADULT sex workers by legalizing brothels in Clark and Washoe counties. You’d be wrong.

* And the “my body, my choice” and “woman’s right to choose” refrains only apply to terminating the consequence of sex, not participating in the act itself. Hypocrisy writ large.

* Meanwhile, back at the ranch…

* There are major issues to deal with in the Nevada Legislature during the ongoing 120-day session. And then there are the Democrats’ issues…starting with putting polling locations in prisons.

* Well, a new bill has been introduced by Democrat State Sen. Melanie Scheibel to create standards “for the “supervision, custody, care, security, housing and medical and mental health treatment” for tranny and gender-bender convicts.

* I’m sorry. That’s so politically incorrect. I meant “transgender and gender non-conforming offenders.” There. That’s better.

* The bill also requires the Nevada Department of Corrections (DOC) “to develop cultural competency training for correctional staff for interacting with transgender, gender non-conforming, gender non-binary and intersex offenders.”

* Because prison workers really have nothing else better to do with their time.

* Scheibel introduced the bill despite the fact that the DOC “already complies with many, ‘if not all,’ provisions of the bill because of federal guidelines.” In other words, the bill addresses a problem that simply does not exist.

* Your tax dollars hard at work.

* Tuesday’s scheduled meeting of the Clark County Republican Central Committee was abruptly cancelled with little warning. Conflicting reasons given. Members not happy campers.

* In the meantime, the Democrats’ efforts to turn Nevada from a purple state to a blue state marches on as Republicans watch from the cheap seats.

* Question 3 – which would change Nevada’s voting system to Ranked Choice Voting – passed in 2022 and will be imposed on the state if it passes again in 2024. Opponents are now labeling the measure “Rigged” Choice Voting. Spread the word.

* The left is becoming increasingly agitated by use of the word “woke” to describe their asinine, racially inflammatory agenda. So please don’t use the word “woke” in this context or you might upset a liberal.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS

“Senate Bill 130 and Senate Bill 136…would limit the power of the governor to impose emergency orders in perpetuity and without approval from lawmakers. … (T)hese bills are not political and make no distinction between Democratic and Republican governors. Rather they simply allow lawmakers to reassert their authority to ensure a proper balance of power.” – Las Vegas Review-Journal editorial, 3/22/23
